If you have had trouble sending email and receive an error message then please try this setting change: Please make the following changes:
Open
Outlook Express Click on Tools Click on Accounts Click on Mail
Tab Highlight the mail.up-link.net account Click on the Properties
button (on right) Click on the Server Tab Put checkmark in box that
reads ''My server requires authentication'' Hit Apply but not OK Click
on the Settings button Make sure the dot is in the choice that reads ''Use
same settings as my incoming mail server'' --NOTHING ELSE Hit OK Now
close all windows and restart computer.
**This only works for Outlook Express users. If you use another mail client (not webmail) then please call the office for further instructions.
