reasons to NOT VOTE FOR BRAD MOORE 6 Months, 2 Weeks ago Karma: -4
An old online friend mailed me today and asked "why haven't I seen you on the other local website?"

After explaining my reasons to him, I went to the site and began to read the endless ass kissing that Shelly enjoys, and realized once again why the site doesn't appeal to me, and why I would not like to draw others interest to her site with my participation.

but, I did find a gem in the endless uninformed trash printed on that site.
Here it is.

Reason for NOT Bad Moore: Brad is insecure and controlling. He has to review every comment that is posted to any of his blogs and forums. That is an indication of how he would run city government. In his blog post The Presumptive Arrogance..." he said "It would require a visionary group of bold elected officials to weather the storm of criticism and ridicule" (to invest $300 million in a lignite power plant). What he thinks of as visionary and bold is in actuality delusionary and reckless, in the face of the facts, which he appears to categorize as criticism and ridicule that must be weathered. His rant in favor of a lignite power plant indicates that he lacks even the most fundamental understanding of environmental and economic issues.

what kind of megalomanical moron thinks it is wise to appropriate your tax dollars for a lignite plant?
would anyone like to list the points by which this evidences grave lack of insight?

Challenge his policy on a blog not controlled by him,
yet, seen by him and all who read it.
Something to think about, eh?

Yes, a bit late on this one, save that WAS a meeting 03-08-2010.

The question of NOT voting for M. Moore based in a Lignite investment doesn’t really seem to be a RATIONAL decision. Whether you like M. Moore is YOUR affair.

As to the Lignite, we MUST look at this a bit for the compulsion of knowing that such a bet is based on sound thought, or a capricious bend of mind?

The Great Google has 7.8 million entries under the term, “Lignite.” The first page has pretty much what is needed. Even page two is quite informative.
www.google.com/search?q=lignite&ie=u...mp;client=firefox-a.

Now, the question MIGHT BE as to whether M. Moore was looking into the future/”down the road,” and was eying a cheap fuel for power generation?

Noting the name of “Lignite” as a community in the county, then is it to be taken there are large enough beds to be commercially viable? If so, and M. Moore was of the mind that local electricity generation MIGHT prove profitable. Then, NOT a bad conclusion.

The downside is that there ARE MAJOR environmental concerns, and that costly scrubbers would be needed to allow Lignite to be used as a fuel source. There would also be other equipment required to satisfy the regulations and ensure general public health.

Therefore, maybe a little temperance is called for?
